Biography

Alissa Doll, M.D., is a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Children’s Health℠ and an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is dual board-certified in pediatric anesthesiology and general anesthesiology. Her special interests include high-risk neonatal surgery, neurosurgery and pediatric obesity.

Dr. Doll attended medical school at the UT Health Science Center – San Antonio. She completed her anesthesiology residency and pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Before her medical training, she spent two years teaching 6th grade Math & Science in the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas. 

Dr. Alissa Doll provides perioperative anesthesia care to children undergoing a wide variety of procedures. She has authored a chapter on perioperative management of obese pediatric patients. 

Dr. Doll is a member of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. 

In her free time, Dr. Doll enjoys traveling with her husband, scuba diving, cycling, frequenting food festivals and video chatting with her nieces and nephews in Michigan.
