Employee Work Groups (EWGs)

At Children’s Health, we believe that real connections make work more meaningful. Our Employee Work Groups (EWGs) offer all team members an opportunity to connect in a deeper way with colleagues across the organization with unique shared experiences. More than 30% of team members belong to an employee work group.

These groups provide more than just a chance to meet people. EWGs enable team members to step away from daily routines, build relationships and hear perspectives from individuals in other areas of the organization. Plus, these groups offer a platform to raise important issues with leadership and open doors for development within Children’s Health.

ABLE highlights the strengths and perspectives of team members with visible and invisible challenges. By sharing experiences and insights, this group helps foster empathy, break down barriers, and create a culture where everyone can thrive.

ASPIRE celebrates the diverse traditions, stories, and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander team members. Through cultural sharing and dialogue, the group enriches our collective understanding and strengthens connections across the organization.

BLAC amplifies the voices and experiences of Black team members, offering opportunities to share history, celebrate culture, and promote inclusive leadership. It fosters learning that benefits our entire community.

HOLA showcases the rich traditions and perspectives of Hispanic and Latino cultures. Through storytelling, celebration, and collaboration, the group builds bridges of understanding and highlights contributions that make our organization stronger.

PRIDE creates opportunities to learn from and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. By promoting openness and authenticity, the group helps all team members understand the importance of belonging and inclusion.

WEW celebrates the voices, achievements, and experiences of women across our system. Through mentorship and storytelling, the group fosters learning, mutual support, and pathways for leadership that elevate us all.

VET honors the service and perspectives of military veterans, sharing their unique experiences to strengthen teamwork and resilience. The group helps bridge military and civilian cultures, enriching our shared mission.
