Biography

Amanda Michelle Lovering, Au.D., is a Pediatric Audiologist at Children’s Health℠. Her focus areas include infant hearing screenings and diagnostic audiologic evaluations using auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing.

“I'm passionate about early detection of hearing differences, as it provides an opportunity to diagnose and assist children with the development of speech and communication in line with their typically hearing peers,” she says. “I also enjoy working with children with a range of neurologic and developmental differences to help them meet their communication and educational potential.”

Lovering earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.

She has been an audiologist for more than two decades and enjoys teaching and mentoring young professionals in Audiology and ENT.

Outside of medicine, Lovering spends her free time with her family, including her two teenage sons. She enjoys reading, hiking and musical theater.
