Biography

Dr. Anita Sengupta is the director of cytopathology at Children's Health℠. She is also an Associate Professor of pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Sengupta earned her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her residency in anatomic pathology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in cytopathology. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric pathology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is board-certified in anatomic pathology/clinical pathology, pediatric pathology and cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology.

She has been on the faculty at Children’s Health since 2010. Dr. Sengupta’s interests lie in pediatric cytopathology and oncology.
