Biography
David Zolezzi, PA-C, is a Physician’s Assistant in Nephrology at Children’s Health℠. He has a special interest in providing care for children who are critically ill and develop acute kidney injuries and need a specialized form of dialysis known as continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
“I am dedicated to ensuring that children in the intensive care unit (ICU) get the best possible kidney care,” he says. “My goal is to improve outcomes for critically ill children with acute kidney injuries by working closely with teams from different specialties, developing clear, evidence-based protocols and focusing on provider education to ensure consistent, high-quality treatment.”
David completed his Physician Assistant training at Seton Hall University.
He is actively involved in institutional and nationwide quality efforts to improve care for children who require CRRT, working to make this life-sustaining treatment as safe, effective and tailored to each child's needs as possible.
