Biography

Kathleen Ludwig, M.D., is a Pediatric Oncologist at Children’s Health℠ and an Associate Professor of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at UT Southwestern. Dr. Ludwig has a special interest in caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, relapsed leukemia and lymphadenopathy, as well as managing general pediatric oncology disorders. She also devotes part of her practice to treating patients with vascular anomalies.  

Dr. Ludwig earned her medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her residency in general pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric hematology-o/oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. 

In addition to treating patients, Dr. Ludwig conducts cancer research aiming to find new medicines and improve survival for patients whose leukemia comes back after treatment. She is an active member of the Children’s Oncology Group, a global consortium of researchers working to improve care and outcomes for children with cancer worldwide.
