Biography

Lorraine Bautista, M.D. is a neonatologist at Children's Health℠ and an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center and specializes in neonatal-perinatal medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. 

Dr. Bautista earned her medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso with a distinction in border health and received advanced training in neonatal-perinatal medicine through a fellowship at UT Southwestern. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Dr. Bautista's clinical focus is neonatal-perinatal medicine, neonatal opioid withdrawl syndrome (NOWS) and clinical quality improvement.
