Biography
Mia Maamari, M.D., is a pediatric critical care specialist at Children's Health℠ and an Associate Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Maamari earned her medical degree at Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and gained advanced training through a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Children’s National, affiliated with George Washington University, where she also earned a master’s degree in clinical and translational research.
She is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Texas Medical Association.
