Biography
Savannah Davidson, Ph.D., is a Pediatric Psychologist at Children’s Health℠. She works with families to deliver specialized mental health services tailored to children managing chronic health conditions. She integrates therapeutic interventions to enhance emotional well-being and coping strategies. She collaborates with other health care providers to integrate mental health support into the child’s overall medical care, ensuring a comprehensive approach.
“I am passionate about being a pediatric psychologist because it allows me to provide emotional support and targeted intervention to children and families during some of their most challenging and vulnerable times,” she says.
Dr. Davidson earned her PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. She then completed an internship at the University of Louisville and a fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine, both in Pediatric Psychology.
“The opportunity to help children cope with illness and recovery while fostering resilience and hope is both deeply meaningful and rewarding,” she says.
Dr. Davidson is a Dallas native. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends and walking on the Katy Trail with her golden retriever.
