Biography

Suraj Rama, M.D., is a Pediatrician at Children’s Health℠ and a faculty member at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Rama provides care for children, adolescents and young adults. His clinical interests include hospital medicine, medical education and training and facilitating the transition of care for young adults moving from pediatric to adult medicine.

“Pediatrics is such an exciting field with so many opportunities to make a lasting impact,” Dr. Rama says.

Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Rama earned dual bachelor’s degrees in biology and finance from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, graduating summa cum laude in both. He earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed residency training in combined internal medicine and pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
