Biography
Syed Ahmed, M.D., is a neonatologist at Children's Health℠ and an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in neonatal extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), hemodynamics, and neonatal respiratory diseases.
Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree at Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba. He received advanced training through a neonatal-perinatal fellowship, both at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.
When he’s not at work, Dr. Ahmed enjoys trying new restaurants, entertaining his young daughter, exploring new technology, and playing pickleball.
