Volunteer
Children’s Health℠ simply could not serve all of our families without help from a generous community of friends and volunteers. We greatly appreciate the time, energy and support of former patients and parents, caring seniors, corporate leaders and many other diverse groups who have made getting involved a priority.
We consider these caring individuals part of our family, and invite you to join in the great rewards of helping children along their medical journeys. Whether you have time or creative, your contributions are most appreciated and sure to bring a smile to a young face.
Adult volunteer program
The Adult Volunteer Program which includes working professionals, college students, retired persons and seniors perform a variety of roles that benefit our young patients and their families during their visit at Children’s Health.
Student volunteer program
Our Student Volunteer Program is open to students (16 years of age and older) who are interested in serving in a variety of ways by donating their time to helping patients and families at Children's Medical Center Dallas.
Volunteer pet therapy
Our Volunteer Pet Therapy program helps deliver the comfort of home and the benefits of Pet Therapy to patients throughout their hospital stays at our Dallas and Plano Campuses.
Group service projects and events
At Children's Health, there are many ways to get involved in groups or participate in events, and you can even host your own event.
The Women's Auxiliary
To continue its tradition and rich history of service, the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center carries out this mission by raising funds for hospital priorities and volunteering at both campuses to help make life better for children.
