Biography
Felicity Lenes-Voit, M.D., is a pediatric otolaryngologist at Children’s Health℠ and Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern. She specializes in ear, nose and throat, head and neck surgery. She has a special interest in infant feeding, childhood sleep and breathing disorders and sinus surgery.
She earned her medical degree at Yale School of Medicine and completed residency training in otorhinolaryngology-head and neck surgery and fellowship training in pediatric otolaryngology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
"Helping foster or restore functions such as hearing, speaking, feeding and breathing in children is incredibly rewarding, especially because I know that some of the work we do with parents and kids will help them in their lives for many decades,” says Dr. Lenes-Voit.
Her research interests include infant feeding, tonsillectomy quality improvement and treatment of tongue-tie. She lectures at UT Southwestern Medical School, teaching medical students about pediatric otolaryngology technology, treatments and innovations. She has been ranked as a Texas Super Doctor – Rising Star by Texas Monthly magazine twice.
Dr. Lenes-Voit enjoys baking bread and other real-life science experiments with her children. She is proud to have been a milk donor to the Mother’s Milk Bank of North Texas, helping to improve the health and survival of infants. She also mentors doctors and surgeons and is interested in workplace equity and supporting trainees in their present and future family-building. She collaborates with her engineer husband daily in running their household and occasionally on research projects.
