Biography
Victoria Yang, M.D., is a hospital medicine specialist and serves as Executive Medical Director of Inpatient Services and Chief of Medicine at Children’s Health℠. She focuses on excellence in patient care and safety, physician engagement and leadership and healthcare operations.
“It’s always inspiring to see a group of dedicated people working together to help a child get better,” Dr. Yang says. “Physicians are the medical experts, while families are the experts on their child and their values.”
Dr. Yang earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in 2010. She then completed her pediatrics residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2013.
“Outside of medicine, I enjoy running around after my two children – it's great cardio!” she says.
