Cindy Bowens, M.D.
Cindy Bowens, M.D., serves as Chief Medical Officer for Children’s Medical Center Dallas at Children’s HealthSM. Dr. Bowens is responsible for overseeing clinical services and serving as the senior physician point of contact for all physicians on the Dallas campus.
Dr. Bowens is an esteemed physician with an extensive clinical and research background in pediatric critical care. She has practiced as a Critical Care physician since 2004.
Dr. Bowens graduated from the University of Louisville, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in biology. She attended the University of Louisville Medical School, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Tennessee at Memphis and pediatric critical care fellowship training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Bowens also earned her Master of Science in Clinical Science from UT Southwestern Medical School.
