Urethral stricture symptoms can range from mild to severe.
- Blood in the semen or urine 
- Frequent starting and stopping of urinary stream 
- Inability to completely empty the bladder 
- Inability to control urination (incontinence) 
- Inability to urinate 
- Pain in the pelvic or lower abdominal area 
- Pain or burning when urinating 
- Penile swelling and pain 
- Reduction in the volume of urine 
- Urine that is dark in color 
- Weak urine flow
