Pediatric Residency Program
Welcome to the Pediatric Residency Training Program. Our three-year, ACGME-accredited program is sponsored by the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in partnership with Children’s Health, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and designated community-based practices. Our goal is to develop the next generation of outstanding pediatricians through hands-on clinical experience, cultivation of critical thinking skills and educational experiences designed to advance career goals. We welcome you to explore this website to learn more about our program and download the program brochure.
Mission Statement

Program Aims

To cultivate physicians who advocate for high quality equitable care for ALL children through durable bonds with our diverse community and partner organizations, and by investing in the development of pediatricians who embody diversity, respect, and cultural humility.
To provide individualized training opportunities that empower residents with the skills to become future leaders in clinical care, innovative research, community health, medical education, and other spheres of influence dedicated to child health.
