Child Life assistants

Child life assistants work alongside the child life specialists to facilitate play opportunities in the hospital environment. Each assistant works to staff and maintain a playroom while also providing individual playroom sessions at bedside.

Child life assistants help with materials management, organization and operation of camps and support groups. Child life assistants also play a significant role in the set up and facilitation of special events. Beyond direct patient care, child life assistants are involved with donor relations and working with donations coming into the child life department.
